Description
This photo dates back to 1910. This is my great grandmother. The picture has always been in disrepair, and being into genealogy and photo restoration I decided to take on this project for my grandmother, who had never seen the photograph in its original state. This took approximately 4 hours in photoshop and required lots of repainting, as many pieces of the photo were either missing or badly damaged.
All pieces of this photo were scanned separately then brought into photoshop as a different layer. Then compiled, straightened, and brought together. Finally repairing the tears and repainting areas that were either damaged or completely missing.
As a final note, when my grandmother saw the finished product she cried, and thats all the satisfaction I could ever hope for.
